I'm sure most of you who have ordered the new Mrs. Cake brushable on Taobao or Ebay may have noticed a few little differences about her head compared to the other G4s. I've included some photos for an easy comparison with a regular G4--in this case, Cherry Berry :)

- Her head is raised slightly higher than any of the other brushables. I personally think this is cute and adds a little variety

- Slightly chubbier face! (edit--Taking a second look, it appears Sunset Shimmer also has the same chubbiness in her face as Mrs. cake, except her head isn't raised.. huh.)

- Very noticeable mold lines on both sides of her head. I've tried capture it the best I could on photo but it really is more noticeable in person to the point where it's kinda annoying x[ I might have to use a bit of sandpaper to smooth it out. There was not a seam in sight on previous G4 heads.

I'm curious about these little changes and wonder if they'll carry on into future G4 brushables? (I hope the mold lines don't x[ There's another thing to look out for when inspecting a G4 before purchase)  But the other changes I'm okay with. Irks me that while they're making subtle changes like this, we're still not seeing any new overall poses. But I guess you never know!

Yeah I noticed the seam lines on the eBay Mrs cake I got. The eBay sunset shimmer that arrived today had a nice beard going on... But a few plucks and all was good. Lol @ my 5 yo - mummy, don't only boys have hair under their chin? LMAO!!!

I have wondered this for a while!
Do they all really have the holes under their "cheeks" like DJScratch has where her sunglasses should be?

I am glad her head is in a slightly different pose. We need more different!

I just got Mrs. Cake and hadn't even noticed the difference! I just chalked up my liking her to 'New Pony Syndrome' :)

Now this is something that wouldn't have been done if she was not going to be released

It looks like they brought up the muzzle and lowered the ears and elongated the smile.

Yeah I saw this too, and it looks like the main 6 ponies will probably be using these molds, too.

Mrs. Cakes head mold is AJ's and Sunset Shimmer is the Twilight Sparkle mold according to the initials on the back of their heads.

What are the initials between her head?

Interesting squishy face! I like the variety in the mold. I hope they do more varieties with other ponies. Like a tall n skinny Snails would be cute.

The plastic used for the heads and the bodies looks the same in Mrs Cake and Sunset Shimmer.
The original G4 heads have a slightly different texture, and discolour differently to the bodies.
Hope this means less colour mismatches in our future ponies.

(and there is a storm right over my house as I am writing this! :rain: )
