My first Deflock! NSS Angel + Added NSS TWILIGHT!

Or should I say, my very first SUCCESSFUL deflock!
I tried an angel once before, and by the end of it she just looked like she had worse mange

Angel was a really good patient though, her flocking was literally falling off in my fingers, so she was probably an easy case!
I have another angel coming my way, and this one had such TERRIBLE flocking there was really nothing else to do for her!
I found a tutorial here recommending an Oxyclean Pony Soup method, and it worked great!
She's not 100% done, she still has a wee bit of nasty yellow glue around her hooves and a spot on her shoulder that needs to come off, but I thought I would share anyways

I don't plan on keeping this girl, but I do find her to be significantly more attractive than with the flocking.. I am now suspiciously eyeing the rest of my manky SS ponies and wondering if they will be as easy as she was to deflock!

Twilight was a bit more of a PITA The flocking stuck in those tiny wing folds! BAH!
I feel like this is pretty fun stuff though.. I shal be deflocking more baity SS ponies!

Twiley has also had a slight re-pink with rit dye.. I am in love with this stuff Her hair was already pinkish, but was starting to fade a bit. Looks JUST like original! *glee*
She looks so different in different light, I took one with LED light and one without.

She looks beautiful! You did a great job.  As much as I love some of my SS's the manky ones looks so gorgeous deflocked.  It must've been a ton of work.  I have a couple half deflocked ones here that I never finished.  I commend anyone that can see the project to the end.

The pony soup method is really awesome! I don't know what it is about that oxy clean, but it really does the trick! I was also worried about the oxy damaging her hair, while I took her tail out and tried to keep her mane out of the goop, it did fall in and soaked overnight.. but it actually made her hair soft instead!
I would definitely try that on your partially deflocked ones.
There are some ponies that are easier to deflock than others, I can't take the credit here. It was all Angels crappy weak flocking that made it possible :p
