Antique Pony Storage - Yes Please!

While thrifting for ponies (what else?) and coming up with zip, I had a thrift success! Pony Storage! I have seen loads of threads on pony storage and display, and it seems that it is unique and varried as the collectors themselves. I admire the pony rooms showcasing treasures with walls lined in the glass door Ikea shelving, but that just isn't ME (I don't have a huge collection and that isn't my general aesthetic).  My poor lovelies have been sharing real estate with books on shelves for too long, and now they have a home of their own.  I liked the original distressed look of the cabinet, but it didn't feel "MLP" enough to me.

Does anyone else share my love for repurposing antiques? If so, pictures please!

It looks full, but there is room to grow...by moving the castles to the top and adding more shelves I can at least tripple the storage. Yay!
