PC on white/blue Italy Lemondrop

could you maybe measure the length of her mane? i need it for replacing the hair on my white lemondrop thx

Hi Zora,

Her mane is 9cm 2mm from forelock to about 1cm from the withers where it extends to 10cm

I've added a couple of pics where I have a comb in her hair to show you the line of the base of the mane.  one of them is just with the comb in, one I am holding the comb down to apply even pressure so the hair lies flat from the nape of the neck.

I have just realised these pics show her with her mane tucked behind her ear.  If you need other detail pics let me know, but the light is going her so it will probably be tomorrow before I can take them.

very cool! thank you for the info (and the measurement in cm - i thought in the UK you measure in inches? or did you translate it to cm just for ME? ) - as soon as i get my hair (its sold out everywhere currently) i will fix my bald white LD!

edit: do you own a regular majesty? if so, could you compare their hair colors? it would be a HUGE help! regular bubbles is not a match for white LD but italian bubbles is. i wonder if majesty is a match too.

Zora, if I were you I'd seek to rehair her with real Italian hair. After all, it's different from HK/China hair and she's not a pony you come across every day.

i got 2 real MLP tails (they come from majesty) and they are an exact match. but i fear they are too short

Too short even for the mane? I take you at your word Have they been trimmed? What I wanted to point out is that not even all real MLP hair is the same. True enough, it is harder to find an Italian donor.

i think italy bubbles is also an exact match but the rehairing method i use uses the hair in double length. so when the mane is 9cm i would need at least 18cm donor hair length.

Good luck with this, I would love to see pics when she is restored to her full glory!

(I only measured in cm because it was more accurate on the tape I was using - it didn't have 1/16 inch on there!)
