Neat finds at Canadian WalMart, Superstore

Hi there, not sure if these have been mentioned before, but I visited WalMart for some wellies for my son, and found a cute set of summery pyjamas for me!  The t-shirt top is mint green and features G1 Sundance with a rainbow and the caption California Dream; the accompanying pj shorts are grey and have a little Sundance to match on one leg.   They also had a full box of Crystal Empire blindbags - my son decided he wants Electric Sky, so with no codes, we felt through the box, but struck out, getting instead Magnet Bolt (also quite cool, according to my boy), Minuette, and the Twilight Sparkle with the raised symbol/cutie mark.  I also pawed around for a boy pony, and luck of the draw netted me Twilight Sky.  I didn't see too much else in the way of new pony toys there (they're still stuck on the Sunny Rays set of brushables), and still none of that lovely G4 stationery merchandise. *pout*

A later visit to Maxi (Superstore elsewhere in Canada) and we spied Shine Bright Fluttershy (almost bought her... so close, but I already have a couple Fluttershy and I don't really want an army) and Pinkie Pie, as well as a two-pack with Luna and Cadence with a schwack of accessories in a (cardboard?) pony carrier - large-sized, Styling Sized?  (I'm not much for collecting G4 outside of the blindbags, so I'm not sure what they were, but they sure looked interesting, and not at all common at least round these parts. )

Just to let you Canadian/Quebec-based ponies know what's out there today!

And it sounds like you saw Fashion Style Celestia and Luna. Very interesting! They're long gone in the two-pack form in the U.S.

I found them in Ladies' sleepwear - which is darned good, 'cause no way could I fit in girls' sizes either.   I think they were $12.  It's not a section I frequent often, we were just on our way for my son's wellies, so we took the detour, and I can't say that they're new-as-all-that new, but I hadn't seen them before and they had loads on the racks.  Pretty funny to find ponies there; I keep checking out the tee-shirt sections and coming away disappointed, must remember that ponies migrate from department to department.

(I'll see if I can't kick Photobucket into submission this weekend and post photos for you and Elfpony, but I've been trying for the better part of a week with PB, and it just - isn't - working... Spock...!  Yay, new and improved version - may I have my old, flawed version back, please?  It worked just dandy for me... )

Thanks for the ID!  Wish I could've picked them up... like I said, I'm not much on the G4 collecting, but I liked the look of the set with all the bits and bobs and the carrier thingie.  The over-thirty-dollar pricetag scared me off, though.

I NEED these PJs!!! Hopefully they will show up near me! I have tended to wander into that section ever since the fleece pants were released in the fall. Had to order them online - maybe these will be up online too!
