I think they kinda do.

Eh, a few poses look a little sad. But overall I'd say no.

The only poses that look a little sad to me is the CP and Shy pose But it's a cute sad like when a dog looks at you with those big cute eyes!

Some of them. Depends on their pose and face. Skydancer's pose is smiling and you got the play bow babies who are so cute.

I think some of my favorite ones have a sad, knowing little smile.  I think it actually makes Glory look somehow wise.

The only poses I find a little sad are the collector's pose and the shy pose.

I never thought they looked sad. I figured that's just how G1 ponies roll.

I've always thought that they have a very melancholy look to them. I really like it though. It's especially noticeable in the shy pose and collectors pose ponies I think.

I'd say if anything, they look Sweet and Innocent compared to other gens (not so much G3s, because they have a similar, "Sweet" look to them)...
