Yeah, I'm aware of those toys, but I felt that they were the ones not show-accurate for Twilight. I'll have to pay more attention to the finale sizes of everyone.

I think its doesnt help that there is a wide difference between the show and the toy line. Clearly the toy line has a size for "regular ponies" and then a size for "princess ponies" and in order to keep the toy line consistent [which to be fair I think they do try to do sometimes] Princess Twilight Sparkle is probably officially now in the larger mould.

Why do you think Hasbro hasn't created a ton of different G4 brushable characters like they did with other generations?

Because of some of the bronies. They get all the catering to and bootlicking with Blind Bags and merch. Kids and other adult fans (even other bronies) pretty much don't exist.

I think this kind of marketing formula existed before G4, with the core 7 ponies in G3, so I doubt the newly formed adult fanbase has anything to do with it.

I think Hasbro is trying to play it safe by always having the mane 6 available, and by not having much of a variety in poses. I also think they are trying to cut costs.
