oh and yes they do come inside  when we do have warm days in winter time when its been raining non stop and i have left the windows open and they crawl along the ceiling. sorry to gross you out :P. the joys of living in auckland, at least we don't have any other yukky creepy crawly's with 6 legs in our house ...............thank gawd :lol:

So when I finally do go to New Zealand, I should remember that you have dangerous animals, like platypi and... slugs.
It looks like you have lots of people who can help you get a new one, but if those all fall through, I obsessively buy an extra or two every year and would be happy to send it for the price of postage, whatever that is. Big hugs, Big Slugs!

ha ha LOL thanks sweetie :) but we don't have platypi, platypus are found in Australia :P but we do have Weta's though, giant fellow's they are  :lookround:

How about ROUS's? I think I just assumed since NZ and Australia are so close, the platypi found a way there. We have Asian carp and pheasants, and none of them are native. Tee-hee! I'm picturing platy-fences!
