i know some people use fabric softener (for your clothes) to combat frizz as it is designed for use on fabrics including synthetic materials including nylon which is what pony hair is made from. i have done this and found it does calm down frizz and soften hair.

i know many wigs are made from synthetic materials and you can buys speicalist conditioner, shampoo and detangler. all my wigs came with a note saying they should be washed with wig shampoo since the chemicals in normal shampoo designed for human hair not synthetic material.

i wash my ponies with washing up liquid and only use a tiny dab of conditioner if it is needed. i have found that conditioner does leave a powdery build of of product on the pony hair which needs to be washed out.

haha!! i think thats due to a poor "before" pic, everything in the pic is yellow ha! i didnt sun fade her at all, only rehair and a little magic eraser. although i kinda wish i would have tried it!

i sun-fade AAALLLLL my white ponies... even if theyre already pretty white, they can always be whiter!!
in fact i have one in the window right now that I will likely take down today ^_^
