Does this apply to G3s as well? Just curious. Or is it too soon to know?

In theory yes its possible - any plastic which has plasticisers used in its mix [which is just about any plastic that needs to be moulded and set "soft" rather than rigid] will run the risk of plasticiser break down and going "hard" over time. However, in the 20 years between G1 and G3 manufacture, plastic moulding/injection technology has advanced significantly so it could be that the mix is more stable and its less likely to happen. We will only know as the years pass if it is going to be as much of a problem in G3 as G1.

We are already seeing something similar in some of the Divine Shines which will no doubt result in them becoming rock hard but that could be more due to the unique mix used to get the transparency rather than a signal that all G3s will go the same way.
Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi

I have a trickles that is rock hard, and sunfading hasn't worked on her pink highlighter marks. I gave up, I was worried she'd crack or something out there, lol!

Thanks for the input!  I would hate for them to crack out in the sun.

I'm not sure that they actually would, i'm just crazy paranoid - I only have one of her! Maybe someone's actually had a success, or was a bit more brave than I was?!
