So I am so happy that it is finally starting to warm up where I live. I know that yard sales are still about a month or so away, but I am still getting excited that that time of year is coming. Then I started thinking about finding ponies at yard sales. I think that there's a good chance of finding lots of G4 stuff at yard sales since kids seem to get bored of things so quickly these days. I have been planning on trying to find most of the FS ponies this way. Is it wrong that there is a little part of me is thinking, "Thank goodness kids get bored with things so quickly these days......this way I can find all sorts of G4 stuff cheaper than in stores, and hopefully the kid got bored before they took scissors or a pen to it!" lol

I plan on going out with my mom to yard sales and flea markets/thrift stores to look for new ponies, so you're not alone! I'd love to find me a FS Rainbow Dash....even better MiB so I know she ain't messed with

Can't be wrong, cuz if its wrong we want to go yard sale'n to find them then it must be wrong for them to sale them for us to want them... I can't wait although in my small town i never find much.. maybe this summer it wont be that way..HERE's to much pony luck for everyone...

where I live there are no yard sales, everybody sells their stuff on some fleamarkets
but it's awesome because ponies are freaking cheap.
I bought honeybuzz and starbeam twinkle for one dollar each xD that's actually because of their size, people think they are from mc donalds xD

Oh god, I think the same thing.  I want a FS Twilight Sparkle but I'm going to wait til I can get it at the flea market for a quarter!

most of the yard sales here have no kid items... and with my schedule... I can't get out enough to go pony hunting... I'm hoping to try in the next few weeks though

Hahaha, i know what you mean! In Iceland this mentality is not restricted to kids, and even though I hate the consumerist mentality, the fact remains that most of the things I own here came from second hand stores So I say, let them get bored, more stuff for us

No harm in that at all After all any child has had fun with the lovely ponies...and now we are just going to give them lovely new happy homes!
