Okay just an update, I got Steamer in the mail today.

His hair is phenomenal. I'm hesitant to open his neck up, unless whoever had him before the seller I bought him from was trying to pull a "reverse gusty" type of scam, the glue looks original, as you can see that it's slightly bonded the head and body together (as the original glue did). It's solid, but there is one small gap area where I /could/ start to split the seam if I do decide that's what I want to do. His tail is a little loose, the washer must be caught on the very end of it, because I can't fully pull it out. But I can see the clamp and everything looks completely uniform. That's not hard to do, obviously, they could've just dyed the entire tail.

His feet are NonPP for sure. It's a smooth "patch" over the PP foot, like you could see they covered in in the mold. Looks legit.

I do not own any hair colors from DH close to pink except for Pussycat, and I compared him to pussycat and he's just a bit darker. I don't own Bubblegum or Old Bubblegum, so I can't compare.

I inspected the roots of the hair on the outside really well and nothing looks like it's not uniform.
I will update with pictures later if I feel up to taking them, still sick  and feeling like doody... but thought I'd share an update. I love him, his pink hair looks amazing. Side by sides with my PP - US Steamer later - but here's the photo from the auction:

Either way, he's definitely a gorgeous boy! Steamer is my favorite of the Non PP boys for sure. :)

Finally got a chance to get photos of my two boys...

My super pink NPP Tracks and my US PP Steamer.
I think only the last picture does true justice as to how pink my NPP is. He's absolutely fabulous!

Wow that is some pink hair. I know I have questioned my steamer's hair after I first got him, but I could not find anything that would suggest that he was repinked either. You have some handsome boys :)

It's very interesting that your super pink Steamer also seems to have very straight mane hair, as you can see mine does too. I wonder if that's something to do with the particular pink color hair they chose? He's SO handsome! *swoon*
