Beautiful and Homely ponies -- What are yours?

Hello everypony! I hope everyone is having a fantastic day ^u^

Everyone has a pony they think is the most beautiful little thing; everything about them makes your heart melt and you wouldn't mind having more than one! 

And yet...we also have a pony we just can't help adore despite being a little homely! Even though in any other case you'd be uninterested, this pony just crops up in your want lists, or appears in your collection quite often. You can't get rid of them because you find yourself charmed by their looks!

My question to you all is this: Who is the prettiest pony, and who is the most charming "homely" pony? 

For me....

The prettiest has to go to Raincurl   
I am absolutely in LOVE with the girl and wish I could have her in my collection! I'd love to have an army of her, really!

And the pony that's charmed me more than she should have is....Sunspot!

I'm not a fan of anything about this girl except her pose...at least, that's what I THOUGHT I should be thinking. Instead, I think everything about her is adorable and charming. Gah! I want her so bad too!!

I love Bonnie Bonnets. Even though her hung head, muted pink color and white hair gives her kind of an old granny look, to me she looks very delicate and elegant.

Ooooh - thats a tough one!

I actually agree with reanna that one of the pretties and most underappreciated ponies out there is Bonnie Bonnets, she seems to be outshone by every other member of that set.

I didn't expect to fall in love with my Lulu Luck because I didn't like how her tail colours just blended together into an ugly blonde colour, but she's growing on me (image is from Strawberryreef)

Mine is little shaggy. My friend had her as one of her first, and I love blue ponies, so she was one of the first ones I wanted when I started collecting again, but lots I bought never had her... until I got a huuuge lot from gumtree - so minty, and then I bought another for a trade, but she arrived late and I kept her (I'd replaced her with another pony of course) and then I got a freebie one... so she's my homely pony, and one will be my travel buddy, too!

My fave pony though is Nightglider, who came with my first ever Shaggy, the two are inseparable!

It varies from time to time, but at the moment the most beautiful pony to me is Glittering Gem. She's absolutely perfect from pose and color scheme to the length of her hair.

The title of charming homely pony is divided to two ponies: shy pose Confetti and Cotton Candy. Confetti is a commoner that usually gets too little attention, but leave her somewhere where she is the center of attention for a couple of days and she'll surely show her true charm to you.  Cotton Candy on the other hand in my opinion truly  personifies 'my little pony'. Being cute and pink and gentle looking, every bit of her just says mlp to me.

I have to agree completely with you Glitzy Gems- Raincurl is so gorgeous. I vote her for the prettiest right now. 

I consider Sunbeam as homely. She's not very popular as far as I know, but I love her colors and symbols.

I actually think Sunbeam is gorgeous! She was one of my grails as a kid and I finally got a minty one recently, she is in the place of honor on my shelf. As for my own personal "homely" pony, I might have to say Tootsie. Her color is just this odd pea-green, but I adore her. She's one of my favorites despite her looks.

I would have to answer in 3 sections of my favorite generations,because there is no way I can pick between the gens. For G1, the one that just makes me melt and smile is Moonstone, and the most homely but I love her is Bluebelle. for G2, the most beautiful would have to be Ivy, and the most homely would be morning glory. For G4, Fluttershy would have to be my pick,but for the most homely, it would be applejack. She is so simple but adorable.

I bought a lot for a couple ponies thinking I would rehome the ones I didn't want. I thought Sundance wouldn't be staying but she cleaned up beautifully and I knew she was meant to stay in my collection. She never would have been on my Wishlist before but now I can't imagine not owning her. I have a new appreciation for Sundance that I didn't have before. She's such a sweetie.

Hmm....prettiest is hard to choose. There are so many that I just adore. At the moment, it's probably G3 Autumn Skye.

Most homely that I love are two.....but they are groups. I love G3.5's and BBEs!
