I ran out of duct tape. That means tomorrow I get to freak out another hardware store clerk! I guess they think it's a bit odd when a person buys a disposable painter's coverall, 4 or 5 rolls of duct tape, and nothing else.

INo weird look this time. I was disappointed. Each piece of the head has a broadcloth backing. This kind of foam just drinks hot glue, so the seams between pieces weren't very secure. The cloth solved that problem completely. Besides that, it's just foam. I'm pretty happy with how this papercraft pattern method is working, but next time I'm just buying a premade resin base!
ugh i know i'm tired I read hot glue as super glue for a sec and was all nooo don't use superglue! ppfftt
