Pony themed ribbon keychains - any interest?

I made these for a convention at my university.  They are ID tags with hand engraved cutie marks and tied ribbon chains.  They wound up being more popular than I expected! 

Is there any interest here at the arena for something like this?  Customs would be easy enough if I can find ribbon to match the specified pony's colors.

How have more people not been interest in these? They are amazing! Its such a great idea and the Pinky Pie one is brilliant!

Could I get some feedback on what might make them more appealing?  I had a couple of ideas:

1. Make them shorter, like so -

The first ones I made seem a bit long for a keychain.


2. Sell them as bookmarks instead of keychains -

3. Different kind of tag or no tag.  My husband thinks the dog tags are tacky.  It is possible I am alone in my love for dog tags, lol.  I could engrave flattened bottle caps, or leave them off and just sell the pony flavored ribbon chains.

For prices, I was thinking $8 for a ribbon with a tag (shipping included), or $5 for a ribbon without a tag.  A few dollars extra for custom engravings on the tag (like a quote on the back) or for a different design, like a G1 pony or a ponysona.  Honest feedback on the price would be very much appreciated; it's hard to be objective on whether these little pretties are worth anything.
