I don't have any hair for him so I'm considering either using wool or sculpt it on, what do you guys thinkwould work better?

Whichever you think you could make look better - you know your skills the best. And he looks super cute so far, I can't wait to see him done!

Hmm...I must have done something wrong when coating it, the eyes bled out and my wooly hair idea did not work out the way I wanted at all 

I might try and redo it, we shall see.
