By the way, why are there two different versions of SC Venus, one with green eyeshadow and another with pink? Are there any other differences between the two versions other than the eyeshadow?

Lips are a different color too. Light pink on the one with green eyeshadow rather than the bright red of the sig look.

Does anyone have any tips for shipping slim boxes cheaply? I'd like to be able to buy dolls for people, but it seems shipping them costs half as much as the doll. I'd considered shoe boxes covered in brown paper, but the question is where do I get them?

I only just realized! The abbey in the 2 pack... She's the first Abbey since the sig that I really adore! i would like to know what other people who never got into Abbey think about her.

I love Abbey, but I have to admit that I didn't even recognize her in this pack!  It's not necessarily a bad thing, I just think she looks a bit out of character for Abbey.

They have a roll of brown paper at the dollar tree!

When Mattel sent me a replacement Venus for my other one with the split leg seam, they put her in a box the same height and length, but the width was doubled, big enough to pack a regular deluxe doll.

I love Abbey, but I have to admit that I didn't even recognize her in this pack!  It's not necessarily a bad thing, I just think she looks a bit out of character for Abbey.

I'm with you on this, I sorta don't like her as much, being out of character, like she's too girly or something, I dunno, she's just not very...Abbey. I'll still be buying the 2 pack of course, but the driving reason will be for Heath

The candy-striped hair doesn't do it for me. I <3 Fashion Abbey is still the only Abbey I like enough to own.

Is it just me or is Cleo's hair almost completely black and without tinsel?

I believe it has no tinsel, but it does have some purple and possibly some teal as well.

I was thinking that too. Since they're gonna be new, it shouldn't be hard to sell them here or even ebay once she gets them, if she were to buy the preorder from BBTS.

Im looking forward to this Abbey She will be the first one other than Sig who I will have. Im going to buy two sets so I can try that shortening method on Heath, so I'll probably sell off one Abbey.

Definitely. My main problem with the Abbey I have (Skull Shores) is that it is sooooo difficult to style her hair so that you see all the colors. I usually have her in a side ponytail, but even then you can't see all the colors... And it's an awkward length to braid.

one of my abbey's has hair that is just a little longer than the others and I took the colors underneath and braided them and wrapped the braid around her head so it circles her head...
