I'd love to see some more clean ups or restores.

I'd like to see more too. Either more by others or more of mine. If I clean up more of my friend's and can post photos before this thread gets too old and locked I'll do it.

Ooooohhh balletpot, you do such a lovely job with pony hair:).  Your transformations look just heavenly, especially on little Moon Jumper!  I have no idea what's on her belly, but boy does she look so beautiful now.  Your High Flyer must be so excited to have a new sister.

Ha ha, thanks for linking my High Flyer post with this michelle. ^.^ I'll have to bring out High Flyer. Most of my childhood ponies aren't on display. Moon Jumper is so tiny next to the regular ponies.

I think she gave me Moon Jumper because i went: *gasp* "You have Moon Jumper! I love this pony she has the coolest symbol." Maybe she had thought of giving me one of her ponies before I went to see her, maybe she felt she could part with that pony. Don't know but I'm glad for the pony. :)

Wow they look amazing :) Fantastic restoration balletpot.

I agree denture tablets are amazing at shifting stubborn stains on the plastic - however if you dont want to take her apart for a soak...have you tried a baking soda paste?
Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi

I haven't tried baking soda or denture tablets. I could at least try it on the outside to start with.

They all look amazing. You did such a wonderful job on these ponies! I have a friend who has a ton of G1s at her parent's house that I am waiting on... She has no idea what is there so the anticipation is killing me!

Thanks again and thank you for calling me a good friend. It was a lot of work actually, more than I had expected but I wanted to do it. I like fixing up ponies. It was also not nice not having to add to my own collection, don't want it to get too big, and that I could just return them to their owner once I was done. Those tiny baby ponies with curly hair were the worst but the ponies with straight hair were quite easy to fix, ironing the hair (when needed) actually helped. The ponies I have bought as a collector with frizzy hair is most of the time just dry and not fixable. Glad it worked on her ponies. (I didn't iron the UV hair btw, I know it can't take heat.)

Ha, ha, tack. ;)

I like the snow photos too. I'm glad we had some snow left when Megan and Sundance were done before I had to return them.

She also had a set of petite ponies but I forgot to take before photos of them. Fixed the tails on the pink and the blue pony.
