I went and made an account there.

Honestly, DOA may seem intimidating, but I've only met niceness so far, but still. heh.

Cool, I made an account :) It seems much more casual over there, which is nice.

I have an account at DOA and I love the people in the tinies forum, but there are a lot of off topic legit resin babies I've discovered since joining castaways. :)

Yes, Castaways is a recast-friendly forum. Some people say that it's a recast forum, but it's not, because you can talk about other things there, too. I personally would never buy a recast, but I still post on Castaways because it's a very friendly place. <3

I  Castaways, lol...Just because it IS smaller and less overwhelming.

...but also because I can skip around the forum like, "Oh hey, look at my legit Delf Soony, posing in this picture with my RS Gang, my recast Sabik, 3 Monster High dolls, a plush pony, some Disney Squinkies, and a Pyrex dish full of Ramen..."

I'm waiting to hear from them too, thanks so much for letting us know. I can understand about making people wait to sell on marketplace, but I joined years ago, then later deleted my account  & I do not understand their position about making people wait if you are looking to buy instead of sell right away.

I think you have to wait on Castaways, too, though... I think you need 50 posts to access it.

I wonder if I'll run into any trouble. I an a member of both. I don't see that I SHOULD, since I don't recast or buy recast BJD.

I have an account at Castaways, too. It's mostly something to be aware of if you plan on buying something on DoA and the seller decides to not sell to you because of it. (I love looking at dolls in colours that the official companies do not offer. Tan Lusis~) :drunk:

There was another forum, but I dunno if it's still active or not. I think it was called Zone of Zen?

I have the same username on both boards, I've never been denied a sale on DOA. *shurg*
