Multiple versions of a character in your collection?

5 Abbey: Sig, PD, RM, GR, Scaris
3 Frankie: SS B/W, 2.0, home ick
2 Cleo: Sig, PD
2 Rochelles: Sig, Scaris
2 Venus: Sig, SC w/ pink
2 Lala: Sig, Scary tales

im sure those numbers will change with all the awesome dolls coming out this year.

Mostly I just collect the dolls I really like, even if I already have that doll. However, I want to get every Ghoulia and Rochelle. I absolutely ADORE those two!

I have multiples of:

Clawdeen (Scaris and DT 2.0, plus a Sig. 2.0 on the way)
Lagoona (DDG and RM)
Draculaura (Scaris and GR)

Howleen probably counts too; I have both Sig. and Dance Class, but I'm rehairing the DC one and will probably change her eye color.

And maybe Cleo would count; I have the original one and Picture Day. Original is currently bald, missing some paint and her hands, and is serving as a guinea pig for custom experiments.

Does it count as "in your collection" if you have it, but intend to sell it? If it does, add these guys:

Frankie (GR {keeping}, RM {selling}, and Sig. 2.0 on the way {undecided})
Abbey (Scaris {keeping}, Scaris {selling}, and Sig. {selling})

I also buy the ones I like, which means that my army of Cleos and Lalas is swelling. Currently there are three more Cleos on my want lists and three Lalas. I just noticed that I don't have any Spectras or Lagoonas and my regiment of clawdeens is also growing.

I'd count all the dolls you currently have whether you intend to sell them or not. You have them right now.

i collect who i like so i have alot of multiples too..
 it does seem like they are different dolls so i don't  really think of them as multiples!! LOL
 i thought i should make a tally of my collection as alot of you have done. so hard to keep track!
 I haven't done this for a while.. some one should make a MH collectors tally app LOL

Tuney: I can't get over how pretty that pink haired Abbie is, the colouring, her makeup, hair and outfit just go so well together. Congrats on finding her!

I also see all the dolls as different because their designs vary so much. unlike the mane six, who to me, in all their incarnations look pretty much the same.

Thanks, Nana-Rena! And I agree with you about the dolls varying. I refuse to buy a doll that looks practically just like a previous version. That being said, I would kill for another Spectra with aqua eye shadow and dark lips like the signature version!

I can't tell on my computer but someone said the DT Spectra that's coming out has more of an aqua eye than the pinker ones out now.  I'm curious to see it in person to see if I have to have it myself.
