Well, for Sunday School I was given the challenge of asking people at least 20 years older than me for a random piece of advice. Not even my mom is 20 years older than me. xD So, hoping some awesome wisdom giving pony friends might have a random piece of advice to give, so I can complete this assignment? I'm 20, so anyone 20 or more over that. You can PM me if you want rather than post if you choose to help.

Nothing original, alas; I'll give you the advice I cribbed from Dr. Seuss to give to my son  - "Why fit in when you were born to stand out?"   It's served me well; I've never fit in (and neither does he), and learning to embrace my differences instead of trying to blend in has made me a far happier person than when I was trying so very desperately to be just like everyone else.  (Hopefully it's working for my young'un as well!)

This makes me think about the fact I was always told as a child to be the orange in the applecart.  Don't stive to be like the group or do what the world is doing.  Be happy to be yourself even if who you are and what you believe is not popular with the world you live in or with your social group.  Stand up and speak about your passions and never stray from who you are to get love.  That kind of love will only bring you sadness and disappointment.

Also to be able to let go of past pain and not carry it your whole life.  The past is just a memory and our focus should not be to try to go back no matter how much we want to.  Forward we must go to be healthy and useful.
