If you look closely at the photo, it looks like they recycled the stickers from the Unicorn and Pegasus & Earth sets for the rainbow ponies instead of their proper ones - I'd imagine because the proper stickers weren't available at the time the promo shoot was done.

I seem to remember some photos of some neat things that Hasbro still has, I wonder how many vintage prototype ponies are out there (there were SOOOO many ponies for so many years, there must be quite a few?)

Wow, good eye! I totally didn't notice the pose differences. I always thought it was odd that Sunlights symbols weren't the other way around!
