Gauging Interest: Music Interpretation/Appreciation Swap?

Well, I was thinking that is how i sometimes do things...don't know if anyone else notices certain things in songs and they just stand out to you or not.  Like in the music video for Mona Lisa by Panic At the Disco, I can't help but think of how steampunk everything looked...or in Love Story by Taylor Swift, she was Juliet in a beautiful dress.  Just things that make me thing of them that would be neat representations of the songs. 

Or if there is a set of words that inspires ideas in your head....  Made of Scars by Stone Sour is a good one...just the title is almost enough!

This sounds like fun. I don't think my music is too out there that someone couldn't create a pony from one of them. And I doubt any of you listen to as weird of music as you think you do.

It seems like there's a decent amount of interest!  If anyone agrees to host it, I'll be glad to pitch it to the mod on his/her behalf.  I wonder, could I be a co-host despite not having participated in 5+ swaps?

I would be interested, and the music I listen to definitely has lyrics that translate well visually.

hm, my honest opinion is that i would be happy to translate any kind of music into a custom, but i fear that i  don´t know what icould expect for mine. i mean, if we just take the song, without video, coverart and such,.. there is so much room for interpretation, it´s insane! OoO
we -could- give a video or coverart to it for inspiration, would that be okay? or is that cheating?
i guess it is impossible for someone else to expierience the same while listening to the same song. i wouldn´t want my partner dissappointed because i interpreted the song different.   u.u"

And this topic is back from the grave!

I've actually put this swap on the back burner for now in favor of a Nintendo swap that will be coming around in October.  But this one is still on my mind and I know people are still interested in it.  However, since there is no date set and it's been a while since I originally gauged interest, someone else is welcome to take over and host this swap themselves.  It won't bother me.  If not, you all can expect this one to happen around the beginning of 2014.
