I was worried about his paint not being smooth enough, the lines of sculpting being too rough, and the mane turning out choppy after I washed it.  Now that I've had some time to look at him as a finished entity more, I'm beginning to like him a little better.

A unicorn head was used for the eyes because I felt he needed Asian eyes. That cutie mark just reminds me too much of Japan's rising sun flag. There is no FIM boy eye done in this style, so I tried to improvise. I rather like how it turned out.

Hmmm.... Maybe I need to make a headband for him...

I think it's very interesting how differently each of us has handled the noses.  Some are very rounded while others are quite straight and others still maintain a small dip. Each pony is so unique!
