ETA: I remember those frog fakies. I always wondered what those lumps on their heads were for. Is it a button? A horn? The... remnants of a horn, perhaps?

It's supposed to be a forelock. Why? This is not a question any sane human can answer.

We sold those, along with another style made by the same company, at my grocery store last year. They also had a line of other brushable animals that included a cat, a dog, a deer, and...a warthog. And it's not even like she was supposed to be a cute li'l potbelly pig and the proportions were messed up; the packaging specifically identified her as "Tulip the warthog." Someone at the toy company decided that there was an untapped market of little girls who wanted a pretty purple warthog to brush and cuddle, and I love that person more than a little.
