Is there still much interest in Giant Plushie Patterns?
« on: February 27, 2013, 04:30:26 PM »
I've gotten quite a few messages over the years about my giant plushie patterns but I haven't been around much to be able to sell them.  Tonight I dug out my pattern from storage to create a few to sell to those still looking.  They would be $15 plus shipping.  I'm just checking to get a gage on how many people want to order one.  :)

here's a pic of some I made in the past:

8O I love those way more than the actual giant My Little Pony plushies, especially with the real hair!!

Curious, how much do you sell them for?

I'll take that as a yes then lol.  I have 6 rolls of paper here to start tracing them out.  I have to rewrite out my original instructions since I lost my digital file.  This is my third computer since I originally made them.

I know I pm'd a couple people that had contacted me in the past.

Ohhh me me me! I would love a pattern please :D

:)

They're paper patterns.  I'm not sure how you would be able to get the right scape digitally.  They really are huge...about 12' of brown crafting/shipping paper and the pony they make is the same scale as the giant hasbro plushies, about 3' tall.  They take about 3 yards of faux fur and about three packages of hair.  I used jumbo braid just because It comes in large quantity for affordable prices, although the gusty was made with nylon hair which cost a small fortune and tangled easily because of the sheer volume and length.  I've seen some people use yarn too.  :)

OH MY GOODNESS!!! YOU'RE BACK!!!!

That is another yes. Let me know where to send you money. Take my money!!!!

My neice, who is now 18 months, got a gift certificate from me for her birth. It's for a custom giant plush, and I know what it will look like. The neice's name is Anwyn, which is beautiful but not very easy to remember for my family. But it sounds like Onion, so that's what we call her. Her pony's name? Vidalia. I'm very excited about this!

So anyway, let me know where to send you money! I actually gasped when I saw that you were posting this!
Thanks so much to Calico_Star for her beautiful work on my Avatar!
