I agree, I think their are more Minty than Sweetie Blue and yellow filly unicorn. I think someone said that only 2 sweetie blues were out of China area.

Very true!  Very sad, Hasbro.  I wanted so badly to find these in a store and support Hasbro with my wallet.

I would also take with a pinch of salt if there were truly that many available on Taobao. Taobao sellers have a tendency to over exaggerate stock numbers and I think if there were as many as 30 Sweetie Blues we would perhaps know of more than one or two collectors who own her. But thats just my opinion
I have seen Sweetie Blue and the little yellow unicorn up for sale less often than Minty.

There's also a purchase history for Taobao listings that shows who bought it and at what price, and that is what I was watching. People bought them one by one until there were no more left.

The reason they do not come up more often is because buying ponies out of country from Taobao was not so popular at the time. When Minty existed, the pony re-sellers were constantly searching and buying all of any stock that looked like a prototype and then selling on ebay.

So, we see less Sweetie Blues because no one bought the whole lot of them and sold them on ebay.

Ohhhhh this post makes me sad. Somehow I never realized she never came out!! I kept thinking we would get her. Dangit Hasbro, stop making umpteen versions of the Mane Six and MAKE THESE NEW PONIES!!!

Honestly I am not 100% that even those totals are right. I purchased 5 of SkyWishes from a seller when I was doing that Taobao order - saw the stock drop to 0 and then when they turned  up at the agent it was 2 Skywishes and 3 Starbeam Twinkles I think there is a degree of flexibility sometimes.

I just never see anything odd or unusual on Taobao. I don't even see mix up head to body ponies. Let along gorgeous ladies like these!
Maybe I just don't search the right thing, or don't go through enough pages... I dunno. Silly, confusing Taobao lol

I feel that ifSweetie Blue WAS released, no one would be that crazy for her, she's nothing special,  nor that yellow fillycorn. Minty would be nice to see though. But Sweetie Blue? Cupcake with different colors. Yawn.
