Lofty might yet sunfade out if you cover all but her mouth. Poor Magic Hat. All she really needs is a big red puff of flowers but I don't think you can make her with a "magic" symbol anymore. I've only found one of her as I usually find Mirror Mirror so I'd have rescued her too.

I could try to sunfade her but I have some bigger sunfade projects in the works right now (a Cherries Jubilee with some serious pink marks from a saddle, for instance). I couldn't leave Magic Hat behind, especially after seeing her condition. I figured she deserved a good bath and a second chance at least!

I wish I was so lucky. Congrats on your finds. Every thrift store I go to in my area never has ponies and I'm lucky if they even have a toy section. Boyfriend is taking me to Dixieland flea market eventually maybe I will get lucky when I go there.

Good luck! Flea markets seem to be good places to look. I actually went to a vintage toy store so I had a pretty good chance of finding something. Most general thrift stores don't have much, I've found. I did get a couple years ago at a Salvation Army. See if there are any vintage toy stores in your area!
