Lol your guess is as good as mine. Maybe the thing here is what we in the Uk would call clay is different from you in the US? And its always possible that she has been incorrectly described on the product info sheets.

John ADams clay jewellery normally involves solid and heavy little clay items whereas with plaster I think more of a lighter weight and hollow material. Unfortunately until someone tracks one down its all speculation.

My daughter got her fuzzy felt for her bday today, and whilst she loves it, it's not like it used to be - or it's not how I remember it lol! One sheet of full colour images, 1 each if pink, green and yellow sheets with images in black outline. And it doesn't seem to stick to well... But she's happy, and that's all that matters
