But as for a pony toy they'd never make... hmmm... how 'bout the original 6 collector ponies in G4 style?  Or just plain new G1s.  I can dream...

Not really a pony, but still related: Tirek, Scorpan, Katrina, Arabus, Grogar... pretty much every G1 villain. As much as I'd love this to happen (I'd especially love to have a Scorpan figure), and keep wondering "what if...", I know that Hasbro would never EVER pull this kind of move.

Not only because (in their minds at least) it would conflict with their "cutesy-wootsy" brightly-colored line of ponies, but also because those figures would more than likely clash stylistically with the ponies themselves - I mean, half these figures would more look like they belong in the "Masters of the Universe" toyline than "My Little Pony".
