That is a book I would like to see!  I thought about doing a Taun-Taun but my sculpting skills aren't super and the ram horns were intimidating.  I bet you could make those!

Hahah, maybe I should change my own WIP Wampa to a taun-taun. She's got the ram-type horns, after all! :P

Your Wampa's faceup is gorgeous! What'd you use to create it?

Your Wampa's faceup is gorgeous! What'd you use to create it?

I loved your WIP horns, those are amazing.  I only wish I had the patience and skill to try that. 

Her face up is primarily acrylics.  Silver and a custom blended teal for the eyeshadow, eyes are just black as are the lips.  I used two different colors of pastel chalk on her, just black around the eyes and a little dark pink on her cheeks.  Then I dusted her chest and cheeks with some Urban Decay eyeshadow in a like a peacock blue shimmer.

I got the book when the Borders by me was closing, they miss-priced it, so I got really cheap, like six dollars. I think your sculpting skills are great. It takes a lot of patience (and sanity and customs) to get good, but you are already great. I still wish I could paint eyes like that. I have a whole bait G1 unicorn covered in eyes that I practiced, but none came out really good.

Lol!  Eyes are hard, eyelashes especially.  I haven't done pony customs in forever, but from my first to my last the biggest improvement I could see was in the eyes.  Once you figure out your style and process it gets much easier.  (except for the lashes, lol)

Great job!

I have combined the two myself, but only in terms of dressing up two of my boys as Jedi, as well as having Jackson and Ghoulia pose with their AT-AT mount. Your custom wampa girl rocks! Love her tattoo as well.
