The March All-Generation Appreciation Challenge!

I voted for the idea!  But I love all ponies.  I really don't dislike any of the generations.  Some are more special to me but ponies are ponies and I love ponies!

This is a great idea! I just need a G2 and my herd has all generations represented.

Last month I rescued a G3.5 Cheerilee from a thrift store. I think it's time to give her some love.

I've taken a no-pony-buying pledge for a while, but I can definitely try to appreciate the other generations.  I have at least one pony from each generation, including a G2 baby and a G3.5 Newborn Cutie, although the latter I confess I've been trying to sell off (anyone want a G1 to G3.5 NBC Parasol?).  I've stopped buying most ponies that aren't part of my favorite generation, but occasionally I'll cave when I see a really pretty color combo in a pony from another generation .

I can't say I hate any gen, but this is a great idea which could be applied to other things. We could make a new challenge every month.

I think that's a good idea... maybe try each month to spread appreciation for different under-appreciated ponies. BBE appreciation month anyone?

Definitely! I was so against the little beggars until BBE baby gusty arrived last month... her hair drives me nuts, but I just fell in love with her! Now I've gotta get them all.. eek!

hum well when the BBE ponies don't have rusty eyes they are kinda cute I used to have A BBE Ribbon that I liked I wonder what happened to her

I bought a 3.5 McDonald's Starsong (http://mylittlewiki.org/wiki/File:Mcdss2.JPG) and she is so incredibly cute!! I am going to customize her and I can't wait! Now, I officially cannot say I dislike 3.5's

Sorry for my stupidness, but what do you mean by G1 to G3.5 NBC? I couldn't figure out what NBC means and I had thought Parasol was only a G1 pony? I'm really curious

Don't worry, I didn't get that whole acronym either at first!

She means a custom G3.5 NewBorn Cutie of Parasol, who of course is a G1. NBC stands for NewBorn Cutie. G1 pony, turned into a G3.5 NBC. G1 to G3.5 NBC.

This is a great idea! I absolutely hated G2s until I started reading/posting on this forum. I spent 10 years hating them but then I came across a thread where people posted pics of their G2 collections and they were so pretty! I had never seen them close up before because I'd always completely dismissed them, but the photos showed this gen of ponies off at their best and I have now started to collect them! There's probably a moral in there somewhere...

Messed up on EqD.  I said I liked the G3s, but I did call them out on some ridiculous names and backcard stories.
