I'm curious about Arena members. :)

When I originally joined it was because I had a growing interest in adding to my childhood G1 collection and was looking for info and resources.  Through the Arena I discovered G3's and this wonderful community and got majorly hooked!  I became a full blown collector.  Then, in 2008, I sort of started to lose interest based on the core 7 and a growing pullip/bjd addiction.  I ended up selling off most of my collection - I had hundreds of ponies and was just overwhelmed by all of them.

Now I'm back because I started watching FiM with my hubby and we both got hooked!  I was never a fan of the G3 cartoons, so I foolishly assumed I wouldn't like FiM.  Boy was I wrong!

I also never cease to be amazed by the stunning high quality customs that the peeps in this place churn out.

I joined the pony people back in '97 when we were just a yahoo group. Used to chat up on ICQ, yahoo and AOLIM alot, back then. I kinda took a break and couldn't find the Pony People group activity and found the Arena.  The members here are awesome and such great people, I don't actively collect ponies like I used to, but the friendships bring me here more then anything.

When I first joined it was for knowledge. Now it's mainly to see if there's any interesting threads. Look at people's brags. I like to keep my eye on the nirvana forum.

First joined for the customs, was already a collector and loved seeing everyones ponies, got me wanting more more more, then became addicted to swaps, and then got into Pullips, only have 2, but love browsing the dolly areas! And love making great friends also!

I came for the ponies, but I stay mostly for the dolls these days. I still look at pony stuff and would buy here before anywhere else, but I don't like G4 anymore so there's not much pony that catches my eye. And friends too, of course.

I joined when I was first resurrecting my childhood collection...oh how times change. Now I like the Nirvanas best...and that saucy minx with the paddle x

Hmmm... I can't quite remember how I got here.  I think I was getting back into ponies again and some how stumbled upon this site.  I'm glad it did !

FiM got me back into ponies, but I also remembered the awesome ponies from my childhood and wanted to find a forum for all the gens. Enter the Arena!

I found out about the wonders of customizing and the fabulous art and custom community here and haven't gone back since.

I originally found the arena because of loa - so I voted loa   she would come to the other pony board and set people straight who were crying there because they had been banned here, and I thought it was super funny. :-P
