Favorite Boardgames?

I, like so many people now days, have been so into all the high tech gadgets, gizmo's and game systems that I'd completely forgotten just how much fun boardgames can be! Well a month ago me and some friends where looking for something to do and we ended up pulling out some old boardgames. We had so much fun that we now try to have a game night at least once a week.

So this topic is part curious how many people still play boardgames and part looking for some new games to try. So far our favorite games are 'Apples to Apples', 'Compatibility', and 'Say Anything'

I love Clue, and Life, and I love all incarnations of them!

Cluedo is definitely my favourite. I was always Miss Scarlett so I could go first but once you figure out the easy way to guess it all it becomes less fun (and Clue is also one of my favourite movies haha)

Apples to Apples is a good one. I enjoy Sorry, Uno, and Imaginiff

I really like Settlers of Catan, Cranium, and Pictionary.    Another one of my all-time favorites is Ligretto, although it's a card game.

I like Disney Monopoly.

Monopoly, Life, Aggravation, Scrabble, and Atomosphere are probably my favoirtes. Though I love 13 Dead End Drive, Careers, and Payday too.

Pictionary is probably my fav, SO funny when you play with the older generation.. I LOVE boardgames, we used to play them on Friday nights when I was young. Its good family bonding time

I like word oriented ones the best, like Scrabble, Boggle and Scattergories. I also like Parcheesi, Trivial Pursuit and Clue. With Clue though, you have to play with the right people If you're Colonel Mustard and you don't sound like Van Pelt from Jumanji - you're doin' it wrong!

My fiance loves boardgames, especially the German ones that involve a lot of strategy--Settlers of Catan, Puerto Rico, San Juan, Agricola, Bang!
Personally, I'm a big fan of Agricola and Carcassone

Monopoly, Life, the Pokemon Master Trainer games, and those boards Disney released in the 90's that I haven't played in ages. And they aren't really board games but I also like puzzles.

Does Scattergories count? My brothers and I looooove that game. We always turn it into a drinking game. I tend to be the worst at it so I end up in the worst shape, always.

My favorites are Scattergories, Imaginiff, and CatchPhrase.

When I was little, I loved Hi Ho Cherry-o, Don't Break the Ice, and Crocodile Dentist. I had the version where you actually extract the teeth (not push them down like today).

I LOVE board games! Some of my favorites are Loaded Questions, Scattergories, Imaginiff, Pictionary, Scrabble, Upwords, Monopoly, Blokus, Mad Gab, Taboo, Faux-Cabulary, Hedbandz, Disney Apples to Apples, Blurt, Scene It? (the Disney and Harry Potter versions) Sorry, and Trouble. I could play board games all day
