puk: Your sea monster looks lovely with that big hair. Did you pierce her ears? I find it nearly impossible to piece my CAM's ears. I think I need a drill for it!

Grabbed the DC Lagoona off my wall, de-boxed, stripped, and restyled. Wanted to throw her outfit into the mix for the re-stlying of the other Scaris ladies. The whole time I was dressing Jane, was thinking Cassie from Skins... "wow"

Thanks. One of these days I will paint it on her face for real ~ I just need to figure out how best to go about doing it (stencil, decal, hand painted, etc).

I would love to get her a traditional Maori costume as well, although I'd have to commission someone to make it for me. I haven't been able to find a doll in the tourist shops that's the right size/shape.

Yes. I just use one of my wife's sewing needles to pierce them (I stab it in a few times and dig out a little bit of the plastic). To get the earring in, I squash the head so it opens up the hole a little more and then gently twist the earring through the hole. Once an earring has been in there for a while, the hole temporarily stays big when you remove it, making it easier to switch the earrings out.

Thanks, michelle. I think the skeleton looks great as a redhead! That being said, I do sorta wish I had another CAM with blue hair. I've been debating whether to get a duplicate.

I used a skirt like thing that my daughter ha when she was 3 months old... I couldn't bear to throw it away or give it to goodwill (too many memories... :( ) so I up cycled it into a hippie skirt for my yet to be named ice lady  :biggrin:

I may hit up once upon a child for some more of these if I can find them (or even Carter's which is where I found this one in the first place  :lol: )

Now to make a billowy white shirt to go with... Or see if I can find one since I'm being lazy... Lol

My daughter decided to put the gorgon hair on my dragon... I kinda like it :)
