Monster Pic Spam - thread 3

Lol yeah, I get frustrated sometimes to the point I just ragequit and hope to try another day.

Ragequit! Love it.

In my case, it didn't help that the baby was being incredibly obnoxious - pulling books off the shelf, and climbing all over me and trying grab/sit on the dolls. I tried to get her older sisters to play with her while I posed the shot, but they were too busy doing something else and she very quickly returned.

I was able to get the shot after dinner since my wife was home by that point.

This is my life!! Lol... I just imagined my baby hanging out playing with the dolls I had just posed... Lol

This happens to me all too often... I have yet to have her rip open any MIB dolls... but she has her eye on my Lala/Clawd set that sits about her level... She will pick the box up and bring it to me and say "open?" I got her her very own deuce, but yet she still has to carry mine and her brothers around... *le sigh* oh the days of a persnickety 2 year old

Ha ha. Yes. Mine only just turned one. She was distracting me by pulling books off the shelf and climbing on and off things (and falling onto the ground at one point). Once she even tried to sit on the dolls.

This afternoon, my middle child (who is 4 1/2) had a friend over, and the oldest (who is 7) was getting a bit stroppy, so I had the brilliant idea of letting her choose one of my dolls to play dress-ups with. I know she's been dying to get her hands on them ever since I started collecting them, but I've been rather wary of letting her since she and her sister are so rough with their Barbies (you should see the horrible things they've done to their Barbies' and ponies' hair!  ). Anyway, she was oh so delighted and chose "the ghost" (Spectra). She had a play with some different outfits before settling on one rather eclectic get-up consisting of a Bratz skirt, Cleo's pyjama top, Operetta's jacket, Abbey's purple hat, and Lala's Gloom Beach sandals. She then plopped her down with a MH magazine on the little rattan loveseat I've got and said she was a mom lying on the couch reading a book after getting home from work. I'll take a pic later so you can all see.

I just can't get over how well I posed them in terms of their body language.

Ragequit, I know it oh-so-well. Haha.
Anyways, perfect picture!! I especially love Cleo in this one!
The upped contrast also makes their eyes look so vivid. :>
( and your Cleo has perfect eyes! Wow.. all the other ones I've seen + my own are slightly wall-eyed. ;0; )
I used to not like the Mummies very much, but lately they're growing on me. ^^

I also love the campfire-pic. The guitar has the PERFECT size! Jelly!


Also.. yeah, I agree about children often being too rough on MH. I've seen it with my niece and her friends.. (they all have their own dolls, tho, so I don't mind.. I even get a broken one every once in a while that I can repair and then use for customs or my own collection if she's salvageable xD)
I know the age-limit is 6.. I'd rather put it at 9 I guess.. x)
I myself was a child that was very careful with her toys, yet my oldest ponies do look a bit beat up. When you're young you sometimes don't know that hair will tangle or hooves will stain when you take them to the woods with you.. so harm will happen with no intention. xD;
