I can't wait, especially for the mane 6! Honestly I think this is the closest we're going to get to official plushies that don't look terrifying, so I'm not complaining. I'm going to contradict my previous statement and say that I don't really get the nylon hair-they could have made the hair stuffed and get it to look EXACTLY canon. Oh well.

Stuffed hair would probably make it a lot harder to fit the plushies into hats, especially Pinkie Pie.  I'm glad they went with nylon hair, personally.

I have a BABW nearby, but never go near it. If anyone spots them in Australia can you flick me a pm? lol - I would love a dash, they both look super cute, they are the nicest (non cutstom) G4 plushies I have seen

These look adorable!  I like the hair, personally!  It's "My Little Pony" so it needs to have brushable hair.  The fact that these do makes my day!  I hate the noodle hair on the Funrise plushes (didn't stop me from picking them up, though I had to debate it a bit).

As for the character selection, I would be surprised if they stopped at just Pinkie and Rainbow Dash.  Still, two of my three favorite characters on the show (Rarity being the other) so I'm not going to complain about character choice.  Still, I want a whole set of six.  And if they make the princesses and the Cutie Mark Crusaders, that would be a bonus.

Now my embarrassing questions.  I've never actually been in a Build-a-Bear before.  How does it work?  I'm seeing mention of accessories and also stuffing your own plush so I take it the point is to start with the raw materials and build it yourself?

I haven't been to BAB in about... 8 years maybe, but I still vaguely remember the process. You pick out your floppy unstuffed bear/pony/whatever, then you get to stuff it as thick and puffy or thin and limp as you want and stick a little heart inside... Then I believe the employee would stitch it up and you get to go pick out clothes, name your critter and print out a little birth certificate, and pay for it.

Thanks!  Seems simple enough!  *Phew*  I'm just glad I don't have to sew it personally.  I'm attached to my fingers and I want to keep it that way!

I'm disappointed to see that the location I knew about is closed but it appears that there's another one closer to me.  Unfortunately, it's also a much busier mall.

Oh my!!! I work right across from BaB, so I'm definitely getting these as soon as they come out. I really hope they do the entire mane 6 so I can have them all.

Edit: I'm really hoping they come out with a Wonderbolts uniform to put RD in, although that may be asking for a little much. I'm surprised they didn't make a Rarity right off the bat. Just think of how many clothes and accessories they could have sold with her.
