Yeah. I'm really confused as to why they have old stuff like that at a toy fair. Someone please enlighten me lol! How do German toy fairs work?!

Twilight looks awesome! I love the other medium and little plushies too- not the giant pinkie-
Spike is cute but i have a feeling very expensive
TheG3s are surprising.....

I really hope sales do well so the nicci plushies come to the states!!!
I love the quality of that brand but I think it is generally quite pricey

According to EQD some pictures are from a toy shop and not the fair. Not sure if that is true though.
But it would explain why some pictures look so messy.

Its simple...a licensee does not have to purchase a license for the current line. Hasbro still hold licensing rights to all their previous generations and companies can purchase the rights to use any of them. However, it is cheaper and often wider [as there are fewer restrictions due to competition] to purchase older licenses.

If this is from the German Toy Fair, I would guess its always possible that a plush manufacturer has a licensee to produce older style/design plush. A cheaper license and a cheaper per product sale means they can sell the item for less and to different retailers.

No really, once a person post any picture of a new toy it goes from 0-60 all over the internet within a few days of the first post. Though maybe if they see we like the possiblilty of Trixie, Cheerilee and the other sizes or poses than they will make them all. Even the ones that are only prototypes right now.
