They both look stunning!

I would love to try to rehair some ponies myself, but I have absolutely no clue were to start! What do I need? Where do I get it? And so on..
And what is a magic eraser, sound like I need that too!  :P

True lovesbabysquirmy, I've done quite a few less involved "spa" treatments and I don't think all the conditioner and flat ironing in the world would have saved baby's hair. I think her previous life was spent in the bottom of a potted plant directly next to the surface of the sun.  I didn't sun-fade Bright Eyes (which I have also found helpful on previous ponies) because I wanted to avoid giving her a greyish tinge (or worse having the darker purple in her original blue dye separate more than it has already started to  >_<).

Kimberline, I did extensive internet searches and watched just about every YouTube tutorial I could find on re-hairing. There are several methods people use, and I opted for the needle and thread method because it seemed most durable (not the most easy). :) I did a quick search to see if Mr. Clean Magic Erasers were available in Sweden, and found that they may be called "swiffer" magic eraser/magiske merkefjerner and be available at your grocery store or Amazon.com (international shipping - Yikes). Good luck!

Thanks everyone else for the nice words :sunny:

Thanks Diamond  :)  I did mark the hoof, and I keep records of what I have done to every pony (including before and after shots, when I remember the before). I plan on keeping them in my collection, but heaven forbid something should happen to me, people will know what the pony's history is. I'm a new member here, but I have been lurking around online going to "online pony college" now for a bit, before I tried my hand at anything more than a surface clean.   :work:

Great job! I've never tried rehairing a pony and I probably never will. I'd be too afraid of stabbing myself over and over with the rehairing tool!
