MLP Monopoly

I searched for this topic and found nothing. Hopefully this isn't a repeat of info but I was on bigbadtoystore and saw some preorders for a My Little Pony Monopoly. Anyone hear anything about that?

I hadn't heard of it- but have in the past been disappointed with themed Monopoly sets, because they don't use too many graphics of what you want to see-

It might be more fun to make your own like this person did - and you could use BBs for the pieces!

Haven't heard of it. I've heard of Pony-opoly, buts it real life pony breeds.

I'm still in process of making my own version of Guess Who in mlp style.

Would this game be from USAopoly? If it is then yes it is indeed on its way. I had heard this was likely soon from them. USAopoly have a license from Hasbro to create bespoke Monopoly games - they are behind everything from Sonic Monopoly, Hello Kitty, Transformers to Marvel Comics Molopoly. They have the association with Hasbro for MLP and they have a license to produce character/product driver Monopoly games. I guess I know which board game we will all be on the look out for soon?

And if the game pieces are not the mane 6 in little metal form I will be devastated!

These are all amazing! I actually want each one -  and I already have two versions of Monopoly as is (not sure where the third one is... ) Must. Have. More.

I just hope that it is UBER deluxe (like the Star Wars Risk game I have) and not some cheap-o one (like the Cats one I have)

Unfortunately, you can't really tell until you open the box.  I remember the cats one was disappointing because the pieces were just the traditional pieces, and although the names of the properties were cats related- the only graphics were in the middle-  kind of a cop-out if you ask me.

It definitely looks like it's happening. What generation(s) it involves isn't known, but more than likely it will be G4 since there's an abundance of place names in the show. Pretty sure the tokens would be the mane 6 plus Celestia and Spike (maybe Luna).

One thing's for certain. In the event of a G4 themed one, jail should be replaced with "the moon".

I would wait to see some photographs of the board and game pieces before I get excited. Like Galactica, I have been disappointed before too.  I was thinking about finding an old board online or in a secondhand shop to make my own MLP version!
