This thread has had me giggling so much that I had to pop in! I hope the new members are listening to everyone's advice (well maybe not everyone's....). Not only do you have to be a member here longer than a month, you need to have a high number of (productive) posts. You must also understand the forum, the members here, and how it all works. And even then it doesn't mean you get to be a mod. I know I applied a few years ago, and I didn't get it. I've been too chicken to apply again, lol!
Slightly OT, but it is wonderful to see so many long time members posting together.

Having worked directly with penguins, and having had to clean up after them, I can tell you, they are literally the worst thing I've ever smelt.  They smell like a mixture of rotten fish and poop.  You do not want penguin scented knickers.

We keep them chained up in the cellar along with Diamond's wine and only break them out when we need male things done...you know like opening jars and getting things down off high shelves and naked dancing.

You do need to learn to type in real words.  We mods do not typespeak.  Mostly because one of us is really old and has no clue what the heck you are saying when you do so.

Never mind penguin farts, how about pony farts?  You know what it is like in a room full of folks farting rainbows and sneezing glitter?
