Try some anti-frizz conditioner.  Wet the hair, slather it on and let it sit for at least twenty minutes then start working on it with a wide-toothed comb, starting at the bottom working your way up.  Rinse when finished and comb again while damp.  Don't brush or comb when dry or it will get frizzy again- at least that's what I've found.  Be patient, I find that if I'm in a hurry something always goes wrong.

That's how I tamed my mohair I'm making a wig from.

I certainly will with Lakumi but with Clover... she wouldn't be Clover without the wild hair

they are small beatles, black, that love flowers, its their larva, these long little things that are the hazard, commonly brought in by dry food, old wigs and stuffed animals and old carpets and clothes
they eat them
similar to moths
I've never had a problem with them myself though

do they come with the hair? Or find their way TO the hair?

carpet beetle find their way to the hair. They will eat any natural fibresand can be found in colonies behind the couch or in amongst the curtains/drapes.

The australian variety are tiny round little beetles that have a tan and brown checkerboard pattern on their shell. The larvae are like hairy little caterpillars and they love to eat mohair.

eek. I had never heard of the bugs before. Are they related to bedbugs?

carpet beetles aren't related to bed bugs. Thet aren't harmful to people or pets, just to fabrics made with animal hair/wool.
