I've been stalking for the last week or so- sorry I haven't made any comments. I'm actually just commenting now so I don't lose this thread!

We're still planning on the $15 package, right? Would $10 be a little more friendly? That would be about the right price for a pony, some candy, and maybe a pair of socks...

I was just coming on the thread to ask the same question Aurora!  I think $10 is a great idea.  I would be in for that for sure   It's really coming up fast....can't wait!!

That is a mouth full! I put the Swap and the Mimics of Minnesota on the first page. I completely forgot about the Paul Bunyan contest! Gah! I wonder if I have enough time...

Anyhoo, I think we will decide when we get there if we want to do separate trades for pony and non-pony packages. If only one person brings a non-pony package, there's not much to choose from! But if 2 or 3 bring them, then it would make sense that the ponies go to collectors- good call, Rosier!

Hi decided what I am bringing saw these cute apple cupcakes thought go with applejack. also thought of rainbow dash and might bring rainbow pudding rainbow bread or pasta depending on what we need deserts or side dish things. ok on the 10 swap is it new things? I have something in mind.

I agree, Bubbles. Old, new- as long as it's pony. We just got a few more new things in at Target, so I might toss one of those into my swap bag! I'm planning on bringing punch and side dish- it's a crock-pot thing, and really yummy.
Are there any massive food allergies we should know about? I'm not bringing any to the meet- the husband is allergic to stuff, but he's not coming. Or vegetarians- the dip can be meaty or not, so I can leave out the meat. I can't leave out the cheese, so I'm sorry, vegans. It's just not the same without cheese. But are there any?

i have a gluten allergy and my friend is a vegetarian, but i live close enough that i can grab food at home if i get super hungry

I'll leave the meat out of my dip, I'm not even sure about how much gluten is in it! The bagels, obviously, but you can eat the dip without them. If you happen to have some extra gluten-free chips, they would be good with it!

I got one of my games finished, and I'm in the middle of another one. It's going to be a little more challenging than I expected, but hey, Sunset Shimmer is a really cute pony- you'll have to work for her! I'm also bringing some coloring sheets and crayons, just because I already have them.

Wizzer, I missed your Scavenger Hunt question- I think that would be amazing! The very first MN swap had one, but since I made it I couldn't really play. I'm not really sure how we would put a poll for the food- maybe a main course, a side dish, and a dessert? But I think you're right- as long as everyone brings something they like to eat, no one will starve.

And... is anyone looking for McPonies? Any generation? I don't want to drag them along if no one cares about them.
