I have no idea about these things but I feel like that's a really decent price for a kiddie ride...? That would be such a neat addition to a pony room, haha. Hope a collector does buy it and takes care of it!

It's the European MLP advert jingle from the early 1990s.  Each set of ponies had a slightly different arrangement of the tune for their advert from what I've been able to find.  Like this Finnish Hair-Do Pony/Rollerskating Pony advert:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4QrfM5JZ7fE  I'd guess this would be the arrangement used for the Seven Characters Ponies (although I've never seen an advert for them) as the kiddie rides were loosely based on Starlight and Sweetheart.  Wrong colours, but they had their symbols originally.

I'd love to have one of these someday, but I've no idea where I'd put it!  Funnily enough, through writing a website on the history of coin operated rides, I've come to know the guy who designed these.  I think I need to ask him for his autograph! :P
