*sings* "Gimme gimme gimme that Fatburger toniiiight!"

Oh yeah, I just had Smashburger for the first time a couple weeks ago. Not a favorite, but it was still good. Their regular fries sucked though.

I like In-N-Out, thought the closest one to me is a full day's drive in Vegas.  :silly:  Since I'm gluten-free, my burgers are really just meat wrapped in lettuce and it's just not that exciting.

I voted other because the best burgers (and they're technically fast food) I've ever had are from a franchise in Melbourne called Lord of the Fries. All their food is vegetarian and can be made vegan. The best burgers ever. Unfortunately I live in Adelaide so can't have them all the time or otherwise I would ;)

Or, not a burger exactly, but Arby's roast beef.  Now if they would just go back to normal fries.  The curly ones are too spicy unless I have a sinus infection.

I absolutely adore Five Guys. It's not too fast, but still pretty speedy. The grease and the fact that they use FRESH jalapenos is what makes them amazing.

We also have another restaurant here called Q Burger. They're not a fast food place, but they have amazing burgers and sandwiches. It's downtown though, so we aren't able to go there very much.

I'm surprised no one's said Five Guys Burgers n' Fries yet. They're a bit expensive, but if there's one near you, go there. Get a large fry (you do not understand how they do fries, order a large fry and you will understand), and a totally awesome burger. With a soda it will set you back $13, but, totally worth it.

I did! *highfive* Delicious burgers AND fries!

I did get a chance to eat at that place once when visiting Boston in 2010, my mom and I thought it was incredible food! There's nothing like fresh fries that haven't been frozen, just like the fries from a good poutine or fish and chips joint. As for local choices, though, I'm going to have to say I LOVE A&W burgers. The meat tastes really good, and their onions rings are THE best <3

Five guys, only problem is I usually fill up on the free peanuts while the burger is being cooked and yes the fries are for two, no one person could ever eat a single order.

Tried smash and didn't love it, will do Carl's Jr in a pinch but I do try to avoid the fast food.

But if you ever get to LA go to Umami Burger it will blow your mind.  The Stilton Blue Cheese and Manly are my favs.

The first time my family went to Five Guys, we ordered 3 regular fries... They filled up a separate bag to the brim with all the excess! Even a single order gets you roughly half a paper bag of fries... they are definitely for sharing.

So many of you peeps like Five Guys. They are all over my area and I've heard from other people they are pretty good. Maybe I should take me and my momma to lunch there sometime.

People aren't mentioning the free peanuts you get, I get a big scope before hand and usually take a few home with me  :).

Yes the burgers are messy (the bun totally falls apart) and keep in mind that the regular burger has two patties, I usually get the mini single patty burger and always bring a partner so you can share the fries which can come with a cajun spice if you want or just the regular salted,  I usually alternate between the two.

I'm a vegetarian, so none of them.  :P
