Best Fast Food Burgers?

Well after the recent scandal of certain supermarket suppliers who have been selling burgers containing horse meat, I am kinda off burgers for the minute (My Lidl Pony anyone??  )

However, I do recall my favorite being Burger King since they did an amazing (sadly limited edition) Swiss burger with bacon, cheese and mushrooms.  I have tried to re-create this at home, but its never the same

I vote for Carl Jr's avacado burger. It like the only thing I miss about Alaska. Well, besides chena hot springs and the northern lights...
I know its a chain resturant but there are none in this area of NY. Maybe they are only west coast?

It's another name out East, Hardee's. They were seperate places, CJ took over Hardee's or some such.

I'd vote Swensen's (sp) but it's an Ohio only place. Northern OH too, I think. Not worth returning to Ohio for, either, but close.

I love Jack in the Box's Sourdough jacks, but they really aren't all that special. I just get cravings for them.

That's horrible!!! I could never imagine eating a horse...

Luckily, Canadian standards of meat are a bit higher and I decide to buy local to support my city's failing economy. My local butcher does all beef from his ranch, which comes from free-range cows with lots of room to move and graze. He also does bison, elk, moose, trout, salmon, and venison meat when they are in season.

I'm surprised no one's said Five Guys Burgers n' Fries yet. They're a bit expensive, but if there's one near you, go there. Get a large fry (you do not understand how they do fries, order a large fry and you will understand), and a totally awesome burger. With a soda it will set you back $13, but, totally worth it.

BK all the way. Dairy Queen isn't far behind but we have to go 30 miles for one that serves burgers. McDonald's doesn't put decent veggies on their burgers. I've never had Sonic and I've only ever had Wendy's once in my life when I was 12 and it was so gross I almost threw up. I'll never eat at Wendy's again and I don't know how they still exist.

Wendy's here don't sell burgers as far as I'm aware, just ice cream, as well as whatever Rally's/Checkers is.

McDonalds burgers all look depressing with their skinny patties unless you buy some of the pricier ones, Hungry Jacks (our Burger King) are ok but don't get their cheeseburgers, they are GROSS... KFC can be ok too. I just don't buy them often because they're always expensive... and the last one I got to treat myself had dry chicken too. So gonna go McDonalds, at least they're consistent

I've never tried Burger King and there's no Wendys in Sweden and I hatehatehate McDonalds.. so I voted others. There are two other chains in Sweden; Frasses and Max and I love Maxs original burger but Frasses has the best fries and onionrings.
For local burgerbar I prefer Megazone. Playing pool and eating the best burger ever with the best dipsauce ever for the fries. Yummyyummy!!!

I shouldn't have looked at this thread again. It made me hungry.

I like fast food waaaaaay too much. Though I love Burgers, my favorite fast food would be Jack In the Box. Their spicy chicken sandwich is to die for. Their burgers aren't my favorite, but they have a really awesome menu to make up for it.

Five Guys! Great burgers with your choice of toppings and I normally can pass on fries but theirs are awesome!
