meh on the castle...and meh on Twilight as a winged unicorn.

If it's true it seems trivial, I was hoping Winged Uni's were born special like...as in it's rare to have a WU and that is why Celestia and Luna are special...not just poofed into being or transformed by magic.

If it is magic that creates a wu it just seems less special to me for some reason.

It's the opposite for me. If winged unicorns are just a species, than you can just...breed more of them.
To me it seems more special if winged unicorns are actually very powerful/magical ponies.
A "status" that only a select few can achieve.

You can breed more of them if you play Ponyisland :p

And I was more thinking you don't breed them in terms of lets just have a baby and there is a 50% change it will be a super powerful WU who can rule equestria - I was thinking more like you could breed 1,000,000 ponies and you would maybe get a WU once in a thousand years kinda thing...not oh look we just made another super special WU.

Which I'd be curious to find out how Celestia and Luna got so special. Are they born that way or did they just manage to study hard enough that they're magic made them that powerful.

Meh, I just like the idea that WU are born special, not made.

The other side of the G4 fanbase has been in a tizzy since the title of the last S3 episode was announced. Many absolutely despise the idea of Twiley becoming an alicorn, even for a short period.
And I've found it to be absolutely hilarious . In fact, here's a little image I made to commemorate it when it first appeared (based off a Youtube video titled "It's Happening"):

If it does happen, I will accept it. Sure it's not a good idea for the show, but it won't mean the end of it (especially since Season 4 is going to happen).

I like the idea of Twilight getting wings, but I don't really care either way if it's a permanent thing or not. I sure do hope that colour is though! It'd be so nice to have a toy of her with the proper shade of purple.

I wouldn't get too excited about the colors, you know Hasbro is more likely to woo people with a perfectly-colored prototype and then come out with a magenta mismatch pony D:

If growing wings comes with other body modifications like longer legs, then maybe they should give Twilight a whole gradient to her body to make her even prettier, like light purple at the top of her head going down to dark purple on her feet.

it looks as if there will be more little play sets and the bridge will connect them, snap them together.
.... or maybe they are just some difficult to climb stairs

i think the wings on twilight are the same style and material RD and FS have on the toys that light up.

Not sure how I feel about it, hmm. I'm not big on winged unicorns. I prefer them to either be unicorns or pegasi, not both. I'll have to wait and see more pictures

 I really haven't paid a lot of attention to the whole drama of the TS gets wings.

I really don't care if she becomes a Winged Unicorn on the TV program. I'll just say that it does feel a little lame to me or maybe the word should be overused idea. That is my personal opinion without seeing an episode. Everyone else is free to love it and love the 'castle' posted in this thread. My person opinion is the castle doesn't look like a castle it looks like the wall of a castle, hay maybe we can hook it together with the wedding castle and make a full castle.

The tv program can do whatever it wants, I don't much care either way where they go with the whole wings on TS.

And for some reason I just see Sailor Moon style transformation thing and how that always took up a lot of the episode (it's just the first thing that springs to mind) - ya know, each girl doing that long drawn out transformation every time they morphed into they're alter ego superhero forms. (That is what I'm imagining and hopefully I'm wrong)

And I'm just sorta hoping I don't have to sit through a Twilight Sparkle style super hero transformation every time she turns on her Super special wing addition powers.

I guess it boils down to I've seen this done to characters and I've seen a lot of cartoons that have this and I don't want it to become another lame example of what I'm thinking, etc.

I like the castle.  I think I like winged Twilight Sparkle; I just need to see how the story plays out.
