Help me remember! (toy horses)

OMG! 

I just remembered a couple of my favourite toys that I had as a child! They must be somewhere at my parent's house, but I don't know where and won't be able to go look for a while. A had a Shetland Pony and a Shire horse.

So here are the "facts" I can recall:

• 90's toys
• Fairly small in size (less than 15 cm tall)
• Hard Plastic with brushable hair and tail
• At least one of mine (The Shire most likely, I guess the shetland had black hair...) came with a water soluble dye for their hair
• Had a green card with purple edges with them

If someone would remember who they were, I would be most grateful!

I wish you luck. They don't sound like anything that was sold in the US or I'd have had them.

Were they "My Beautiful Horses"? These were hard plastic with brushable hair, had various breeds of horses (quite realistically rendered) but I think some of them also came with hair-dye and little accessories. I don't remember what the cards were like since I got most of mine from a the "My Beautiful Horses" magazine (I was such a spoilt brat! )

I've got 4 small horses that are like that, but they only have a brushable tail.

...and while I was googeling that I remembered that LPS toys were too so much prettier when I was a kid (I had the pearl white filly with pink hair and I can faintly recall some other lps toys too now that I think of it)... I wonder what else I have forgotten in the past 15 years...

That's another great thing about pony collecting, you re-discover a lot of old childhood favourites :-)
I used to have a lot of the G1 LPS too, they had some really amazing sets, like the huskies with the igloo and frozen lake. I remember my mum making me a paddock playset/storage box for the horse LPS too, that was so cool ^^

That is so true! Now that I really got into the LPS subject, I remember that we have the Shamu family playset, the Vet playset and the Walrus too at my parent's house. I'm so gonna start hunting these down, they are just too pretty to leave uncollected

I don't have pictures of them, they're somewhere at my parent's house. I'll need to dig them up the next time I go there.
