No Country Ponies
« on: January 16, 2013, 10:45:23 PM »
Which ones are Nirvanas, and which ones are just as common as the normal release?

I have a Sundance and a loving family sweet celebrations mother.
Sundance looks mostly the same as the usual Sundance. She feels a little weird and her eyes are painted differently.
Sweet celebration pony is very different. She is a lighter colour and the strings on her balloons are painted much more finely than on the normal pony. Her eyelashes are also very fine and done in glossy black paint.

Does anyone have pics of other no country varients? It would be fun to compare the differences.

The Nirvana Gallery would be the best place to see more No Country ponies :) They're all technically considered Nirvanas too, although some are worth only a little more than their normal release (such as the two you mentioned) and some are worth far more (like one of the NC TAFs for example).

NC Sundance was a common release of her in Europe. I don't think she's considered a Nirvana, but it's kind of a gray area. The NC Mommy & Daddy ponies were also pretty common releases, however the Mommies seem to be easier to find.

these ponies are spanish :)

check out the spain section in the nirvana gallery!

http://mlparena.com/gallery2/main.php?g2_view=core.ShowItem&g2_itemId=216552

we know they are spanish as when one was found MOC it said "made in spain" on the back. they also share the same features (hair quality, plastic type, symbol and eye style) as spain marked ponies.

there are quite a few ponies with no country of manufacture stamped under the hoof so you have to look at other features to find out where they are from ;)

Thanks!
I also have a Spanish version of the Scrub-a-Dub-Tub. It's probably no different from the usual one, but the box is cute.
