aside from that I know that, as far as I know those fakies are pretty expensive, I don't know real prices, but I saw one recently in ebay with a bid starting at 40 dollars.

you'll see, those that you have seen here are fakies, fakies of the babies that real osharena ponies have.
the real osharena ponies are articulated, I'd say they are, like a mixture between a diy toy and a hello kitty xD

For those struggling with putting pics, you have to use the following code:

[img]http://~http://image url~[/ img]    where you replace "~image url~" with the link to your picture if it's online (and no space between / and img) . To put a picture online you can use plenty of services like imgur. com, photobucket.com etc. Many of them have the ready made [img][/ img] link that you just need to copy and paste here

As for Takaras, I have to say that I am one of those people that finds them hideous but I keep stalking these threads thinking that I must be missing something and that I will get round to it

I believe the last price quote was starting around $800-$1,000 for the real ones. But I think there is a lot of variation due to how rarely they pop up.

I have a question about fakies though! Were they only released in Japan, or were they also released in other countries?

Kimberline, depending on the condition, i have seen takara fakies go for 25$, but id say the Not-so-mint might go between 8-15ish$ maby?
I am not 100% sure about this.
